PP+K PROVES LOCAL AGENCY'S TALENT CAN DRAW NATIONAL ACCOUNTS
Tampa, Fla. - December 1, 2006 - Award-winning Tampa creative ad agency Pyper Paul + Kenney Inc. announced today that several recent national advertising and public relations wins have brought the agency's annual capitalized billings to more than $40 million in just a little more than two years. PP+K's recent account wins include: Tires Plus, a division of Bridgestone Corp. that operates more than 500 stores across the U.S.; HSN, an operating business of IAC/InterActiveCorp (Nasdaq: IACI), which originated the electronic retailing concept in 1977 and has since evolved into a global multi-channel retailing giant, offering thousands of unique products in fashion, beauty, home, jewelry and electronics; Yacht StarShip, Tampa Bay's premier dining yacht and America's only dining yacht to receive the prestigious Three Diamond rating by AAA; MarineMax (NYSE: HZO), the nation's largest recreational boat and yacht retailer with more than $1 billion annual revenue; The Palm Restaurant in Tampa Bay, part of the oldest family-owned, white tablecloth restaurant company in the U.S. with more than 25 locations; and Touch Handmade Vodka, a new ultra-premium vodka that is launching onto the national scene. "In markets like New York City and Los Angeles, there are plenty of large agencies with talented people at the top, but clients never know if they're going to get the 'C Team' working on their account after the pitch is over and the contract is signed," said Paul Daigle, president of PP+K. "At PP+K, we are uniting the most talented ad people in the Southeast under one roof, and rock staring it out for all of our clients. There is no 'C Team' at Pyper Paul + Kenney." PP+K's new contracts follow on the heels of a record-breaking awards season this year, during which the agency won 212 national and international awards for clients that included Circle K, MLB's Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Sweetbay Supermarket, The Florida Aquarium and Lee Roy Selmon's. PP+K is an award-winning advertising, media and public relations firm. Clients include: Circle K, MLB/Tampa Bay Devil Rays, HSN, MarineMax, Sweetbay Supermarket, Tires Plus, The Palm Restaurant in Tampa Bay, Touch Handmade Vodka, Lee Roy Selmon's, Yacht Starship, The Florida Aquarium and the American Heart Association.
