PP+K DOMINATES ADDYS, AGAIN.

Tampa, Fla. – March 03, 2009 – For the fourth consecutive year in a row, Tampa based ad agency Pyper Paul + Kenney, has rocked the competition in the annual national ADDY award competition winning 62 total ADDY awards plus four “Best of Bay” awards for the Public Service, Non-Traditional, Out-of-Home and Mixed Media Campaign categories.

With over 60,000 entries from several thousand U.S. agencies annually, the ADDY Awards are the world’s largest and arguably toughest advertising competition, highlighting the best work in the industry.

“Wining awards does three things for our agency,” said Paul Daigle, PP+K’s President. “First It generates press that helps us attract highly talented new employees, second it has increased the amount of times we’ve been considered for new business pitches, and lastly it has given us local Top Dog bragging rights which has obviously created some jealousy and animosity.”

“Our Clients could care a less about awards,” added Tom Kenney, the agency’s Executive Creative Director, “their only concern is bottom-line business results.  And while an award is a nice thing to place on a shelf somewhere in your office only to live a lonely and meaningless existence and never to be spoken about again, it’s our Clients record results in 2008, that our creative work helped to produce that we like to spend our time chatting about.”

PP+K won ADDY awards for fifteen different Clients including the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), The Florida Aquarium, Jailhouse Fire Hot Sauce, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, Majestic Apparel, Metropolitan Ministries, Pirelli Tire North America, Pirelli Tyre SpA (International), Sweetbay Supermarket and Tires Plus.  Other PP+K Clients include MLB/Tampa Bay Rays, NASCAR/Grand Am Racing, St. Joseph’s Baptist Healthcare, Reeves Import Motorcars and more.
